26650 mods?
After seeing there's a Sony 26650 with a 50 amp limit, I decided I need a monster mod in my life, and sharpish. What are my options here? There don't seem to be many floating about second hand so what's hot and what's not in the big mod world? Smiling

Inspiration right there! I have big plans for the DNA30 when it's released. I was considering dual 18650 but the 26650 may give equal bang in a smaller footprint. I've got a product designer on standby to make my casing idea a reality... once I know final chipset requirements. Watch this space Wink

RE: 26650 mods?
I have a 12volt battery from my old BMW sat in the garage. Can anyone suggest a good box to fit it in to make a decent mod? I want to keep the size down if possible, so I am thinkingi will either use a davide mini, or perhaps some kind of dripper. I figure that...... Nope, can't keep my face straight. Can't say I didn't try though. :-)

RE: 26650 mods?
Yeah I saw that one come out of the vapiong trade show they had in the states. It's just... huge!

70 watts is basically 0.4 ohms at 5.3 volts once voltage drops have been compensated! I like my sub ohm builds but that just sounds like pain.

That's the only one I could think of - getting ahold of one is another kettle of fish!

Now that's what I'm talking about. That ticks a lot of boxes but I wonder if it's really a true 70w - at what resistances and voltages are they quoting that for.
