Battery for mechanical mods
Hi guys, i need help here. I've been googling for 1/2 hour without success. Can i use this battery for a mechanical mods? Found it on ebay and its pretty cheap. All i've found people talk about is AW IMR and not this one. Feedback would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

RE: Battery for mechanical mods
just get the proper jobbies IMO.

I wouldn't scrimp on the battery as its pretty key.

AW IMR's can be purchased readily from most vendors or LEDFIRETORCHES for around a tenner.

efest are good too tbf. I've got a couple of their 18350's.

kayfun + nemesis = perfect

RE: Battery for mechanical mods
They will work, but IMR's of any make will give higher discharge rates and they are safer chemistry.
Every mod maker I've come across recommends the use of IMR's Thumbs Up

RE: Battery for mechanical mods
My view:

IMR batteries are better if you are using low resistance (less than 1.8 ohm) coils, because you need the power.

Otherwise, standard protected batteries are good in mechanical mods on standard resistances (2 ohms plus) as they offer a measure of protection to mod and battery which is otherwise absent.
