RE: EFVI collection boxes - help needed to distribute round the country
Earlier today, another flock of Dodo's was released from Dodo HQ - making it around 285 in the hands of the regional coordinators. Our apologies to those coordinators who's shipments have been delayed but the response has been (almost) overwhelming.

Of the initial batch, many have now been installed into Vape Shops and are now being fed on a diet of signatures and peanuts. If you want to see them - the EFVI guys are now hosting a Gallery of "box in shops".

Also, ceedee at the Dodo Tech Team has been slaving over our UK map, showing the location of all the boxes. Hopefully, we'll turn the country green over the next few weeks as boxes are installed into all the shops. If you live in an area with no boxes - volunteer to deliver some !

Most importantly, we now have coordinators for every region of the UK and lots of local volunteers delivering the boxes.
"Thank You" Kiss (to all the ladies), a manly hug to all the guys and a "Get back to work" for Entropy and Blaze.

Looks like we're the mysterious third way Entropy!

In other news - another 8 boxes being distributed from dodosouthwest this morning. And post offices have queues outside them in the mornings - who knew?

We've sacked the marketing guy for having a useless memory and not thanking all the regional coordinators and local volunteers.

And he was contractually obliged to say Work but never did.

Bloody amateur. We won't use him again.

The marketing man was brilliant, a true pro!

I think you've just given the EFVI a massive boost slim.

It's map weekend for the Dodo Box project ReadingSmiley

Could all the coordinators try and find time to note down the names/locations of all the shops you've distributed boxes to and I'll start sending you all the information you need to update the map held on the EFVI web site.

Let's see if we can all get our areas up-to-date by the end of the Easter weekend.

Then you can all take an evening off Wink

RE: Dodo Boxes - help needed to distribute round the country
Apologies, it's been 10 days since I updated this. What have we been up to ?

465 Dodo Boxes have been distributed around the UK
300(ish) have been delivered into Vape shops
150(ish) are being delivered into some large chains this week

Some boxes are enroute (very slowly, it seems) to Hungary, Sweden, Republic of Ireland and Cyprus.

Dodo HQ has run out of our initial 500 boxes - as have most of the regional coordinators.

For some areas it's been around 2 weeks since their boxes "hit the shops", whilst for others it's only just over a week. And, whilst we have definitely not hit top gear yet, we are starting to see a big increase in signature numbers :-
  1. Today will be the 7th consecutive 100+ day
  2. Averaging 172 per day (compared to 86 for the previous 7 days)
  3. Target of 177 per day (to hit UK target)
  4. Today is the highest figure for 6 weeks

What have we learnt so far ?
  • Not everyone's handwriting is easy to read
  • Nobody likes captcha graphics
  • We have an amazing network of Vape shops who are very supportive of the EFVI
  • We have an even more amazing network of Vapers helping to make this work
  • Lists on UKV aren't very easy to use
  • Scarborough is not near Liverpool !
  • We can hit our target, but it's a marathon and not a sprint.
Now.....Work

RE: Dodo Boxes - help needed to distribute round the country
Quick update on our progress.......

Mon 14th - Sun 20th Total 584 Average 83 per day
Mon 21st - Sun 27th Total 1070 Average 153 per day
Mon 28th - Sun 4th Total 1249 Average 178 per day

(178 per day is the figure we need reach the UK target so we are now "back on track")

İmage

We've been hampered by lots of bank holidays....but we now have 14 consecutive 100+ days under our belts and I'm expecting this week to be higher again.
