Flying with Kafun 3.1
Maybe a dumb question but I was on a couple of flights this week through work and had my provari and Kayfun with me. The Kayfun was about half full on the 1st flight and I lost nearly all my GVC that was in it through the air hole Sad Is this to be expected? Anyway to stop it as I'm flying again next week? All I could smell during the flight was custard Smiling

The Kayfuns feed your juice using a balanced air pressure system. The cabin pressure in the plane WILL cause it to flood and leak everywhere. You're not going to stop this happening.

I believe it's a well known side effect of the pressure changes that take place during a flight. The best way to stop it is to keep the device upside down while you're on the plane

Outrun is coming back for September. This time, I'm aiming for 100 miles so please give generously to help me through the pain! Here's a link to my JustGiving page and Here's a link to my progress thread on UK Vapers

Cheers for your quick reply - I was thinking along those lines but thought there might be some way around it.

Keep it upside down will work ? I'll give it a try cheers. Either that or vape furiously before the flight Smiling

RE: Flying with Kafun 3.1
Keeping it upside down is the advice the manufacturer's give (I've not tried it myself) - it does make sense though, as the juice can't flow into the chamber (and flood out of the air hole) if it's upside down

Upside down will work. BTW that's also the way to clear a flooded chamber (turn it upside down and blow through). Of course the other option is to just empty it prior to flying Big Grin

RE: Flying with Kafun 3.1
Surely the Evod will have the same issue as the Kayfun, it also being a bottom coil?
