I personally prefer the warmth a top coil gives me, so iclear or vivi for me.

Why are they so much more in money too say just a EVOD, there the same design as in a wick ?

is there something i am missing which makes them that much better ?

I think that the difference in price between the evod and the protanks are because of the pyrex tank and SS body.

Anyway, huge fan of the PT1 here... I love bottom coils and airy draws, so it's perfect for me. I use all Kanger's bottom coils (T3, MT3, MT3s, evod) but the Protank just that "something" that makes me really love it.

I'm going to try the iClear30 soon, will post a feedback!

The iClear30 is pretty old skool these days (plastic tank, top coil, proprietary head) but I found it was about the best of it's class in it's day.

As everything is going glass/pyrex tank, bottom coil, eVod/Protank heads, it seems pointless using anything else, if nothing else because you only need on set of spare heads, and they can be rebuilt. I think the Protank 2 and the Davide are about the best of the class now. Mini versions of both are available should you want something a bit less chubby on top of your ego battery Smiling

Cheers,

Al.

Having used both the iClear 30 and PT1 and PT2, I would go with the PT's. I just had so many issues with my iClear, leaking, bad heads, coils going bad very quickly so that due to personal experience with the iClear and the PT's giving me no issues that would be my recommendation.

Also if you grab the PT2 over the PT1 the removable drip tip is a massive plus for me.

I've been using Iclear30's for a couple of weeks now and really quite liked them. Last week I got the Davide to see what all the fuss was about and it turns out it really doesn't suit me. Far too airy for me and I much prefer the Iclear's.. It's a shame because i really want a glass tank and rebuildable heads.
