Really? I wrap 1.0ohm coils on my Oddy and love it, vaping around 14watts. I know its high but I love the intensity. I've read the manual a couple of times and note the recommended range as between 8 - 12 watts. A 2 ohm coil at 4v gives 8watts. I had for my first coil wrapped a 2.3ohm coil and was using it on the Provari in excess of 5.5v, finding it a little weak.

Next coil I'll meet you halfway, say 1.5ohms..how's that! LOL

I have no idea how folks can actually taste the flavour of the juice at that high wattage.... LOL! Give it a go and let us know how you like it OK?

To be honest, the only time I've ever got a burnt flavour is when turning the heat up on a carto. I never have on an RBA. Even wrapped (by accident) a 0.8ohm coil on the Oddy and with a fresh battery I think it was somewhere around 20w. Really really nice for about half an hour, then the battery died and I ran out of juice!

Just recoiled at 1.6ohms. Put on Provari at 3.7v....

IMO, flavour weaker, cooler (obviously) and no throat hit now.

Increased by 0.2v increments until I got to 4.9v when it became too hot. Flavour & throat hit increased as I went up. 4.9v on 1.6ohms gives circa 15w. Right back where I was.

Backed off now to 4.6v, seems about right.

Does anyone know if any combination of the small tubes would work in terms of creating the 15ml barrel possible for the 3.1?

I ask as I'm a little put off by the bulbous look of the large glass tube but love the sleek look of the small tubes.

Thumbs Up

Realized I may have posted this in the wrong forum so thought I post here too. (hope that's OK)

RE: Kayfun V3.1
If you had another V3.1 you could possibly use two sets of the small tubes yes. They aren't available separately unfortunately, but it is possible yes.
