Photo bucket for pics
(06/05/13 07:48 PM)THJahar Wrote:  DO NOT STICKY THIS THREAD!!! Photobucket are goddamn awful. Their cross browser compatibility is awful not to mention that you have to create an account.

The largest image service on the Internet at the moment is http://imgur.com/ because it's far, far easier to use than photobucket and tinypic et al.

No account required, just click the computer button select file and click upload, done.

Each to their own mate iv been using photo bucket for years and other than the odd bit of content (adult humour)
Being removed iv never had a problem with it and am a member on half a dozen uk based forums and it has worked well on all of them ,

RE: Photo bucket for pics
Same here, I have never had a problem with photobucket.

Thanks to the OP for the tutorial, It confirms that I can post pics on here from PB in exactly the same way as I do on other sites. İmage

RE: Photo bucket for pics
I've never used photobucket. But if you just want an easy place to put your pics for forums, I would recommend using DropBox. I just drag the photo to a public folder, then rightclick to get the public link. No hassle and I retain full control.

RE: Photo bucket for pics
Today's PB is not the same PB I joined back in '08. I have not had an issue with them until today and when I look I can see the site has been revised yet again. This time to its detriment. I'm in the midst of wiping all my pics and albums.

İmage

I use Dropbox solely....
Nothing could be simpler and as said above, simple as 1-2-3.. Just add any pic or file either from a comp or phone to Dropbox, add to the public folder and right click to copy the link, then add/paste the Link to wherever you wish....works the same with files/folders Wink

You retain full & total control and don't have tons of pics floating in Cyberspace or anything on the Interweb that can be used, abused or manipulated by others...

Thumbs Up
