1.3ohm on my g-bell

is that the .3 or the .5 you have on there wreck ?

It's the .5, on a 2ml wick. Gives me my perfect resistance in the space available on the gbell. Going to try it on some of my other atties tomorrow.

Haven't found it anywhere in the UK yet. 0.5mm only from America from Ebay or 0.5 or 0.3 from Poland in the above links.

Isn't that the one you linked in your first post?

No it seems to act more like 0.28mm or there abouts. I'd like to wrap 6 or 7 and end up with around 1ohm ideally. I love the coverage and vapour production on the wire I linked to and if it was just that bit lower in resistance it would be perfect.

How about 2 strips of 0.3mm? that should be a bit lower than one of 0.5mm.

Do you mean a twisted coil type doodah or a dual coil/dual wick jobbie? Either way, neither had occurred to me so I'll give them a bash!

RE: Ribbon Kanthal Wire
How do you wrap this around the screws? Surely it'd be more difficult if the coil is flat?

It flattens out easily, you just crush it as you tighten.
