RE: Darkstar bottle shot tutorial
wow .. very good concept but your paying £16 for 180ml of 18mg/1.8% rather than £5.99 for 100ml of 72/7.2 .. yes I know in a while your not going to be able to get 72/7.2
but do you not think its a bit pricey .. but you have to commend them for coming up with something .. that will help people who din't stock up ..

RE: Darkstar bottle shot tutorial
I understand that the cost of producing the new 18mg/ml nic products is higher than the higher-strength dilutions previously available.
  • time and new mixing equipment to make the new dilution
  • new bottling equipment for smaller sizes
  • far more 10ml bottles (per litre) required
  • far more time to fill and label the smaller bottles
  • Plus of course, the time and cost of the analysis and paperwork to get the new products 'approved' by the MHRA.
And DarkStar's price is far more reasonable than other similar products - looking at you, FlavourArt! ;-)

But I can't understand why a 30ml bottle of one-shot flavouring costs £6 but when you put 20ml (so around £4) of it into a 100ml bottle with a bonus dropper cap (+30p?), it costs £7.

IMHO DarkStar's Bottle-Shots won't "revolutionise homebrew" - they just make it more complicated for newcomers and more expensive than using one-shots.
