2.5mm 26awg a1 Kanthal, used about 4-6mm wick but halved it and rolled that's how I got my two coils wicked.

Leaking issues mainly has to do with not enough cotton, don't be shy with it, pack it in there lol Wink

What internal diameter are your coils? I think mine are 2.5mm but it's been a few months since I coiled it. I might try what I'd consider 'overstuffing' this afternoon and see if I can nail it.

No bigger than 2.5mm ID, any bigger and it'll touch the inside of the chimney and cause it to short Smiling

Enjoy your good stuffing session later lol, Wink

The way I do it is, plenty of cotton rested on top of the juice channels. Tuck the cotton tails between the back of the coils & the posts.

RE: Wicking Issues on bellus
re leaking when filling the bellus tank.
i have had the bellus for over a year, the way to stop leaks when you fill it, ( wick it the right way first. ). the way to stop leaking is.
1 close air flow holes first.
2 fill tank.
3 when tank is full, still with the air holes closed.
4 turn tank upside down, and at the same time open up the air flow holes.
leave tank upside down for about 30 secs.
5 turn tank the right way up, you will see air bubbles go up the tank, and if by magic, no leaks, use the bullus, and enjoy... Jump for Joy

That's exactly how I do it, works every time.

RE: Wicking Issues on bellus
Getting dry hit on bellus, just recoiled after seeing that my other coils were slightly gunked up. Tried to get to .5Ω but one leg kept moving up. Tried again but this time with a .3Ω so I can try at higher watts. So far getting nothing but dry hits after 3 seconds pull. The wicks are well saturated but I do not know if it is wicking correctly.

It's more of a burning sensation at the back of my throat and lungs. Looked at wick and no burnt wicking.

RE: Wicking Issues on bellus
could be a hot leg on one of the coils so burning the juice on that rather than the wick drying out

RE: Wicking Issues on bellus
I also wick mine as shown on the picture on here. I also use Clapton coils on mine and the flavour is really good.
