ego twist battery - time to charge?
Hi all, I recently got an Ego C-twist off fasttech, works great, but seems to take ages to charge.

Plugged it in at work this morning, light on charger shows red, the white LED on the battery was on at first. 7 hours later, the light on the charger is still red (blinks green sometimes) and the white LED on the battery is now off.

Is the battery charged when the white LED goes off or do I still need to wait for the charger light to go green?

how long should these take? it's 1100mah by the way.

Thanks. cf

My tw twist can take around 12 hours to charge but i do find that using the pc usb port can take longer than if you use a usb wall plug but yes you need to wait for the led to turn solid green.

ah so they do take ages then. thanks for the reply. I'm using mains plug too.

My 900mah normal batteries only take about 3 hours, so I thought there was something wrong with it.

4 hours should be long enough. Are you charging it from a PC/laptop port? Could be being current limited.

Cheers,

Al.

only sometimes it takes up to 12 hours but that is with some usb ports. I find it changes, sometimes 3-4 hours, sometimes 8 hours and sometimes 12. Doesn't bother me much as use my mods more, my twist is back up really.

4 hrs max for me and mine is from Fast tech. I have another one from Healthcabin and the charging time is the same.
