RE: how to rebuild a viva nova ecig
Thanks for the vid. As soon as one of my heads die, I'll give it a try.
Nice clear step by step instructions.

RE: how to rebuild a viva nova ecig
The vivi nova's are so easy to rewick/coil. I use 0.15 nichrome from http://www.wires.co.uk and candle wick from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Braided-Cotton...160c22052. If you wrap 3/4 coils on the wick it usually gives you 2.4/2.8 ohms. Just make sure its 'soaked' before you start upping the voltage and it works a treat. I didn't even wait for any of my heads to die... Wink immediate improvement!

I tried this with the links you gave and found the taste was muted and had less vapour I made a 2.5 ohms I am wondering if its the type of cotton you linked too.

I've been re-wicking with the exact same material and find that fraying the cotton with a pin along its whole length helps loads with the flavour. Maybe give that a try?

I think I've got 0.15 nichrome wire, 4 twists gets me around 2.2 ohms.

After you fray the wire remove a few strands to make the bundle a bit thinner and don't wrap the coil around it too tight. Should give you a nice result Smiling
