Question I have some new Energizer ULTIMATE lithium batteries?
Can I charge them on my Nitecores ?
Can I charge any lithium AA/AAA in any charger designed for lithium batteries?

They don't look like they are rechargeables. They look like primary cells - use once and throw away.

They are indeed primary (non rechargable) batteries.

I use them for 'emergency' torches that don't get regularly used as they have an incredibly long shelf life (15 years, apparently).

Thanks. It looks like I bought them by mistake.
@Stevethesax, Thanks a lot. I'll keep them for a purpose that you mention.

Batteries like these in button cell format have been used in PCs to hold up memory chips to remember settings, the 10+ year lifetime is good for that. As for emergency torches, I have a few rechargeable torches with built in dynamos. Spin the handle for a minute or two, and let there be light!

Recharging lithium primary (non-rechargeable Lithium-Iron sulphide chemistry) is impossible. They do not hold any charge, they start gassing almost immediately, and leak the electrolyte - which is very corrosive on metals.
Avoid.
Used for intended purpose, they have outstanding characteristics, as a very low internal resistance, stable voltage, works below zero C, no capacity drop at high current, incredibly long shelf-life, and they will never leak; they never become mainstream because of their excessive production costs.
