RE: Important update from ECITA: legal advice re prospective bans
OK, as promised the handout is up and ready for download. I know it's a bit cheeky, but if everyone here printed it out and hand delivered it to each of their MPs and MEPs, maybe, just maybe we can make a difference? Obviously, if you don't agree with anything it says, then don't, but if you DO agree, and want to protect YOUR right to vape, then please get this out there! http://ecita.org.uk/a4%202%20sided%20han...202013.pdf

Also, if you supply into local shops in your area, or know the people in there, maybe you could encourage those outlets to display the information with the products? Anything we can do to get the message out there can only help.

Thank you all for your support!

Cheers,

Katherine

(MODS: I don't know if you can sticky this, or find some other clever way of ensuring every member sees it, but I'd be grateful for anything you can do in this regard. Thank you.)

I agree. I had to be AFK for a bit there, but I'm about to send it out to all our members with precisely that suggestion. Smiling

Hopefully, many of the vendors who are not members will also send this out to shops where their products are stocked, so that this information goes out as widely as possible. I deliberately tried to keep it as 'brand-free' as possible, so that the vast majority of vapers and vendors would not have any issue with getting it out there.

Cheers,

Katherine

Can we setup a Facebook page?
It got rage against the machine to number one.
Also e-lite must be confident as the have just invested 1.5 million into the company. Even though I don't use their brand I like them alot.

Personally, I wouldn't know how to, being a bit of a FB-phobe, but I imagine one of our members would have the know how (and reckon I know just the one to ask, too!), so I'll include that suggestion.

Just putting the notes together for them now.

That said, if anyone in the community has the know-how and wants to set up a page, there's no reason why it has to be ECITA based? After all, this is NOT about ECITA! Obviously, we will be funding the legal stuff moving forward, but the fight belongs to all of us - and all our friends and families, and all our children, and their children....

Cheers,

Katherine

Yes but we need something more mainstream as the average person using e cigs do not even know its called vaping.
I will look at setting something up that stands out.

Not everyone uses Facebook. I for one don't and never will. I can't stand it.

However masses of people do so it would be a good place to send a message quickly...

Websites are good but you have to be looking for them to be effective which is a catch 22.

I said a while back that the vendors should be making folks aware of this by some sort of an inclusion in every order
