Thanks BenH, no I haven't but I am now! Wink So many bit's n' pieces to look at, it's quite overwhelming. I'm spending hours just browsing at the moment absorbing info and watching youtube vids on tips & tricks.

The Mill is being delivered tomorrow so I'd better go get the garage in order! Smiling

Dangerous... but subscribe to newsletter of this http://www.homemadetools.net/
There are loads of good ideas for saving money on jigs/tools and improvemnts, personally I have lost hours on there! I have a few homemade bits on there and have had some good ideas off it too Smiling

RE: Mills
Which one did you order NorthStaR ?
I'll warn you that either one will be very heavy. I had to move mine on my own but I could have done with some help.

No need - it's nearly 50kg - it'll make it's own space Smiling

This one with the R8 option.

If it's too heavy I'll either get the missus to help or phone my fossilized brother.

I'm used to lugging heavy stuff. Two 25kg water cans was a weekly chore for my fish tank and over summer I moved over 100 tonnes of rubble & soil, 35 tonnes of mot type 1 substrate, 35 tonnes of gravel, 4000 engineering blocks and hand mixed & poured 35 tonnes of cement. I lost count of how many buckets of water, bags of cement & ballast went into that!

Where there's a will there's a way! ... lol Wink I'm a one man army.

lol.... oh yes indeed Claz. Clapping I now officially have a Mill!

I only had time to check it was the right mill and to get the manual out (have a two year old to look after during the week).
I'll get more time this weekend. I need to shift around some other stuff too and have a general clean up.

Then just lift it into place, check it over and have a practice. Itching to do it now but little miss grabby makes that a little impossible!
