Perhaps
Would it be ok to have a Journey forum in the Introductions category forums, as some members have written quite a few, perhaps mentioning me as say. Just that anniversaries and a persons journey could go hand in hand.

Just wondering as I have one on my board.

Anything goes now to keep me off.

I'll discuss it with the others...

likewise gold and jewels,
but I would slave to learn the way
to sink your ship of fools

If I could make a plea prof? Nothing against the basic idea just the name. Please no 'journey' categories. A journey involves a train or a boat or even just a pair of boots. Smiling

No offense Leon and all credit to you for your struggles with the deadly weed but if I was a new or potential vaper looking for encouragement from other vapers your story is not one that would motivate me to persevere. Rather the opposite.

RE: Perhaps
I was not meaning to mention me by name but rather seeing as though I have quite a few threads. Some successful and others not so. So I would only put the ones that I am basically successful. Like the one I did last year with 41 days. Not all people will find that they can sustain a lengthy withdrawal

But then again, isn't a journey undertaking something but not by the method but by the means. Even if there is failings. Like a train can derail or stay stationary at a rail track. Or a boat taking on water, or the motion of the ocean make the boat stay in place. Yes, I know some can be hazardous but you get my drift.

No, but it would suggest in never giving up trying Richard46.

RE: Perhaps
Credit to you for not giving up Leon, really, but I think a lot of people reading what you have put yourself through without obtaining the outcome you want would be discouraged from trying to give up smoking by vaping.

Just my opinion about the possible affect and not a criticism of you.

BTW Keep focused I vaped and smoked and struggled to give up the smoke for 5 years before I finally had my last ciggy (3 years yesterday actually)

RE: Perhaps
what is this odd request about? Who wants to hear anyone's personal struggle to give up? It's boring.

RE: Perhaps
It sounds like content that would be better put in a blog. A personal space.

RE: Perhaps
Personaly I think too much is made of the "journey". I have a lot of time for vapers who found a Twist and a small glassomiser kept them off fags and stuck to it. I have never (well there has been the odd day) found vaping as satisfying as smoking and spent too much money searching for a holy grail. I have found better gennies than the DID I started with but not hugely better (reduced chambers work for me), it may be a minor pita to set up but I haven't found a better dripper than an IGO.
