RE: RTA with these features ?
Had another visit from dear son today and we still have a problem.
He really likes the performance from my gear but all my gear is sub-ohm with rta's and dual battery mods. He tried the serpent mini I gave him but as usual it leaked all over the place because of the way he carries. He is a typical mid 20's and always out and about so wants a small device and tank that he can carry in his pocket. He likes pretty much everything about the jac vapour S-22 kit he has except the fact the device is not VW and the coils only last 3/4 days and cost £10 for 5. He is contemplating the jac vapour dna 75 but is put off by the £80 price tag and still has no idea what tank to put on it if he did go that way. He isn't one for messing about building coils etc so is there a tank that has pre-built stock coils that don't cost silly money and doesn't leak all your strides when carried in your pocket or a rebuildable as I can make the coils for him so he just needs to change the wick but also won't leak and a cheaper option for the dna 75 keeping the form, simple design and stealth like qualities ?

Each coil is rebuildable and there are lots of 'how to rebuild' on YouTube, f.e. here:

So the S22 coils are rebuildable? Smiling

In the same way that Nautilus coils are - it can be done, but it's fiddly and you have to replace the coil each time you swap the cotton. Much simpler to buy a good rebuildable MTL tank. Easier to build, and the coil will last through several cotton replacements.

More like it leaked because of how it was built. I often use a serpent mini and it has never leaked a drop - it spends most of its time lying on it's side or in my pocket.

It's not so important now to be MTL he seems to have moved into DL now so what tank would be suitable ?

OK so if it was down to being built wrong what is the right way ?

I build a 3mm coil and trim the wick square to around the width of the atomiser. Wet it and gently tuck it into the channels, without forcing it. Make sure it's filling the channels and screw the chimney section on carefully to make sure you aren't displacing the wick.

I'm not overly fussy about builds and the current wick has been in place for about three months, but this atty has never leaked a drop.

Seems there is more than one serpent mini just to make clear the one I have is the serpent mini rdta. So it has the very small glass section at the base. This one.

RE: RTA with these features ?
No idea about that one - I'd assumed rta from the thread title.

RE: RTA with these features ?
OBS Engine mini, it's 23mm though so a 1/2mm overhang on the jac vapor.
An rta that will not leak, it just won't do it, I've tried all normal leak guaranteed methods of pocket storage, lying on it's side, upside down, too little wick, too much wick etc.
it does not leak Smiling
