Vaping on 0.07Ω coil
Someone just asked me the best 18650 battery (single) to use with a 0.07Ω coil.
By my calculations, that is going to draw around 50A and they would be lucky to get a couple of seconds from a VTC5A.
Anyone used a similar setup?

Life would be so colourful if only I had a drink problem

RE: Vaping on 0.07Ω coil
I see people running theses ohms all day on Facebook.. such a shame they don't understand battery say..

And yes I have been known to use a 0.08ohm build on a single 18650 tube with 25r/20r/hb2 but only for very short periods of of time

We are assuming the application is for a mech?

Not me! Don't use mechs, and if I did, I wouldn't go below 0.2 ohms.

They say that VTC5A last for ages. I'm thinking they have the decimal point in the wrong place. Definitely in need of some education methinks.

Tbh from what I see on a daily basis, the vtc5a really do hold their own, even being abused to such degrees. Ok it's goin to be radically decreasing overall battery longevity but if you're buying new cells every 3-4months, as I see people doing, it doesn't really matter.
It's seems that running well into sub 0.1 builds is a very commonplace thing to do now within a lot of mech oriented groups (and even general vape groups).
